Shanxi Jianlong Company's intelligent continuous casting platform successfully completed a 48-hour hot test. A total of 64 furnaces of molten steel were continuously cast in this hot test, marking that the intelligent continuous casting platform has officially entered the trial operation stage.
Relying on this platform, the operator can realize the robot's autonomous replacement of the long nozzle by simply clicking the "long nozzle installation" button on the main console of the operation room.

Three sets of robot subsystems
Automatic assembly and disassembly of large-bag skateboard cylinder subsystem
It consists of a six-axis industrial robot and a matching 3D visual positioning camera, an automatic unlocking cylinder gripper and a nozzle sealing ring gripper. After the 3D visual camera completes the positioning of the large-bag skateboard cylinder, the robot receives the signal and starts to grab the cylinder for installation and disassembly, and completes the installation of the large-bag lower nozzle sealing ring at the same time. The robot installs the cylinder cycle of 1 minute and 10 seconds, and the robot disassembly and assembly of the skateboard cylinder success rate reaches 98%.
Automatic replacement subsystem for long nozzles of large ladle
It consists of a self-developed four-axis special robot that can be active and follow-up, and a bowl cleaning device.
After the temperature measurement and sampling robot completes the visual positioning of the large ladle outlet, the four-axis robot carries the long nozzle to complete the top ladle pouring. The long nozzle top ladle and bowl cleaning cycle is 2 minutes and 10 seconds, and the long nozzle replacement and top ladle cycle of large ladle is 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The success rate of robot installation of long nozzles reaches 96%, and the success rate of automatic top ladle of four-axis robots reaches 98%.
Thermal measurement sampling and oxygen blowing drainage subsystem
It consists of a six-axis robot, a temperature measurement sampling gun, an automatic probe warehouse, an oxygen burning drainage gun, and a visual inspection gun.
The temperature measurement sampling gun completes the robot's temperature measurement and sampling work; the probe warehouse stores temperature measurement probes and sampling probes; the oxygen burning drainage gun completes the automatic ladle oxygen burning drainage; the visual inspection gun takes visual photos to locate the large ladle outlet, and the temperature measurement sampling success rate reaches 95% at one time, and the laser visual positioning success rate reaches 99%.
